Ruth has a particular interest in how people perceive and manage risk and her work has been published in the books co-authored with David Hillson: Understanding and Managing Risk Attitude (Gower, 2005) and Managing Group Risk Attitude (Gower 2008). Ruth has also presented papers at a number of conferences, including International Project Management Association conferences in Budapest and Ljubljana and PMI EMEA conference Madrid.
Ruth's experience is supported by full membership of the Association for Project Management (APM), Project Management Institute (PMI), Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). She is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and Managing Successful Programmes Advanced Practitioner. Ruth has also
gained an MBA from Henley Management College where she studied the impact on cultural differences on business success. Ruth is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield University School of Management.
Ruth Murray-Webster has worked in the area of managed change through projects and programmes for more than 20 years. Her initial experience was in large multi-national companies in the chemicals and nuclear medicine sectors. Following a two year period establishing a British/Russian joint venture company trading in nuclear products, Ruth moved into a consultancy role.
Over the past 12 years she has provided consultancy and training services to a wide range of clients across most sectors, including Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Nuclear, Rail, Legal Services and Academia.
