Management Consultants Supporting Corporate Transformation
Building on a background in systems and software engineering, Vic Stenning has for the past seven years specialised in IT-enabled business change, with particular emphasis on ensuring that technologies deliver the desired business benefits. The topics on which he works include business and IT strategy (including e-business), enterprise IT architecture, and programme, project and quality management.
He has consulted extensively in the UK, Europe and the USA, in both the public and private sectors. In the public sector he has worked in areas ranging from defence systems acquisition to the development of e-business throughout Europe. In the private sector he has worked in the aerospace and telecommunications industries, and for several specialist IT companies.
Prior to entering management consultancy, Vic spent eleven years as a technology consultant with Systems Designers Limited (now part of EDS) and seven years as Technical Director of Imperial Software Technology Limited.
Vic has a BSc from the University of Manchester and a Doctorate from the University of Sussex. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Chartered Engineer, and Visiting Professor in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton.
